It is set for an Augrelease on PC via Steam, and on consoles via PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, marking the end of a ten-year absence for the series since the release of Armored Core: Verdict Day. The game is the directorial debut of Masaru Yamamura, who worked as the game designer of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Bloodborne.

Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon is the upcoming sixteenth installment in the mecha combat game series Armored Core developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment.
